Project Details

The client’s 14 division marketing teams were purchasing media through local agency partners. After recognizing consolidation of vendors as a cost-saving opportunity, they hired InfoWorks to manage a request for proposal (RFP) process to select an enterprise media partner.

InfoWorks interfaced with multiple vendors throughout the RFP process to deliver requested information and presentations, resulting in the final decision. Following selection, we negotiated standard pricing and service levels. InfoWorks worked closely with the client and the selected media vendor to deploy a comprehensive change management plan to ensure adoption of new processes by the client’s team.

The change management plan involved performing a stakeholder analyses to pinpoint areas requiring resistance management. The team coordinated onboarding activities, including an internal communications plan and development of a change champion network. The team also developed a team charter for the group owning the enterprise vendor relationship. Finally, we established an ongoing processes to support adoption and utilization of the new vendor. These initiatives helped the client realize the projected ROI from the vendor consolidation.
