For nearly three decades, InfoWorks has been more than a consulting firm, it has been a Nashville story of growth, resilience, and community impact.
Founded in 1997 and proudly 100% employee-owned, InfoWorks has become one of the region’s largest technology services and management consulting firms by employee count, according to the Nashville Business Journal. Today, the company serves clients across Healthcare, Financial Services, Manufacturing, Public Sector, Non-Profit, and Retail, helping organizations solve complex challenges with practical, results-driven solutions.
Welcoming a New Leader
To accelerate growth and sharpen their focus on client partnerships, InfoWorks stepped into 2026 by announcing the addition of Jason Childs as Chief Sales Officer. Mr. Childs brings more than 25 years of sales leadership, entrepreneurial experience, and team-building expertise to the firm. His career has been defined by helping organizations grow through disciplined sales strategy and a relentless focus on value.
“InfoWorks has a great combination of deep expertise, strong values, and a clear commitment to client success,” shares Childs. “I’m thrilled to join a firm that sits at the intersection of technology, strategy, and execution. I am excited to see what we build together.”
Looking Ahead
Lane Newsom’s five-year vision for InfoWorks centers on innovation and integrity. The firm expanded and honed their Digital Strategy & Development services and is doubling down on human-centered design, AI adoption strategies, and data-driven decision-making, ensuring clients can thrive in an era of digital transformation.
“As technology evolves, so do the challenges our clients face,” Newsom adds. “Our role is to help them navigate that complexity with clarity, confidence, and solutions that deliver real value for the long term.”
Internally, InfoWorks remains committed to cultivating a vibrant employee-owner culture that attracts and retains top talent. This commitment is put into action through initiatives like employee-owner Coffee Connects, ongoing investments in professional development, and purposeful community outreach.
Local Roots, Lasting Impact
InfoWorks’ Nashville roots run deep. Beyond partnering with Tennessee-based companies to deliver technology, strategy, and data solutions that drive measurable results, InfoWorks invests in the community through initiatives like:
- Leaders in Technology (LiT) – An InfoWorks consultant-led scholarship and mentorship program with the Nashville Black Chamber of Commerce, serving 15 students since 2021 and awarding over $9,000 in scholarships.
- Volunteer and sponsorship efforts with organizations including Habitat for Humanity Restore, Salvation Army, Pivot Tech, PMI Symposium, Williamson Health Golf Ball, Renewed, and more.
“Legacy isn’t built on profits alone, it’s built on how you treat your people and the impact you leave behind,” says Newsom. “Throughout our nearly 30 years in business, we have always and will continue to focus on what matters most: delighting our clients and investing in our people and community.”
