Lisa accepted the invitation to serve on the InfoWorks Board in January 2022. She has a background in accounting and finance, and a thorough knowledge of all facets pertaining to a company’s financial operations. Currently, Lisa holds the position of Senior Vice President, Strategic Finance Analytics for Ascension. She is responsible for and has oversight of dynamic financial planning processes, capital planning, improved analytics and reporting, and mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures. A philosophy she lives by is to always surround yourself with people who are smarter than you and value collaboration. She believes this builds great teams which can grow and learn from each other.
About joining the InfoWorks board, Lisa shared, “I have always been impressed with the leadership, professionalism, and excellence of InfoWorks. When asked to serve on the Board, I did not hesitate for the chance to be part of this amazing organization.”
Lisa began her career at Ernst & Young. She moved to Ascension Saint Thomas in 1998 and has held various roles, including CFO and Vice President of Finance, prior to accepting her current position. Under her leadership, Ascension Saint Thomas achieved notable growth in net operating revenue and margins while expanding access to services in order to provide compassionate, personalized care to more individuals and communities in Tennessee. During her tenure, she worked collaboratively with the Ascension Saint Thomas strategy and operations teams in the development of business models for six newly created joint ventures in support of enhancing the ministry’s footprint and adding access points. She also led work to acquire and integrate five rural hospitals into Ascension Saint Thomas.
Lisa enjoys travelling, hiking (albeit a novice!), shopping and listening to audio books while taking long walks.
