Requirements and Business Process Analysis:
Our experience shows that spending time up front defining the business requirements of the solution will mean less time and money spent in development, and a better solution for the business. As needed, we can review current “as-is” processes, determine business or technology inhibitors, and define future “to-be” processes which help define the application.
Architecture and Design:
This step is a more detailed functional and technical design of the application. It can also mean a prototype is developed so there is no miscommunication on the final application functionality or appearance.
Development:
InfoWorks can use the technology your company chooses. Our technical developers are specialists in their craft and, as such, work very efficiently and effectively.
Testing and Quality Assurance:
This step includes development and review of test plans as well as participation in system and user acceptance testing.
Documentation:
Thorough documentation of user procedures is a step many developers overlook, but is essential to the on-going usability and support of the new solution.
Training:
If required, InfoWorks can develop and deliver cost-effective user training during initial roll-out of the application, along with ongoing refresher training as turnover in the organization happens.
Support and Maintenance:
Many of our clients prefer to have InfoWorks continue to provide ongoing support and maintenance of their custom application. By being local and with low turnover, often the same consultants who developed the application can continue to support it.
