Project Overview
InfoWorks managed the requirements definition, design, development, and pilot implementation of an electronic medical intake system for a large prison system.
- Project management activities included development of the project charter, time line, work plan, risk management, training, and testing strategies and plan
- Business analysis to research and document requirements
- Development and documentation of system design
- Development of a custom application to include entry screens, forms, and reporting functionality
- Tracked project plan, resources, and budget
- Provided on-site support during pilot
- Facilitated regular project status meetings with steering committee, business owners, and project team
- Provided weekly status reports, including milestone accomplishments and key project issues
- Communicated project results and escalated issues to executive management for resolution
